Concrete Patio
With a concrete patio, there are just so many ways that we are going to be able to take the structure. In most cases, people are going to visualize just a square made from concrete next to the grass. That is not always going to be what a concrete patio can look like. We can create a concrete area around a hot tub in the back yard for example. We can also create concrete paths to walk on through the grass. There are just a lot of different possibilities that sometimes people just forget about. If you want all of these things to be on the table so to speak you may be interested in what we have to say.
Creating That Unique Design As we have mentioned we don’t necessarily have a set idea when we are tasked with creating a patio. The fact that we like to present different possibilities to each client we believe is something that people appreciate. There is nothing wrong with showing up to our door and saying I need a rectangular concrete patio with these measurements. Of course, we can get that done. All that we are saying is that there are a lot of different options on the table if you want to explore them. Resurfacing or Polishing Concrete Patios There are times that patios can take a real beating from the elements over the years. In these cases, you don’t always have to scrap everything and start all over again. We could also try and resurface a lot of the existing concrete. This is a procedure that works very well when we have a top layer that is pretty battered. Yet, we don’t have a lot of deep cracks or holes. What we are essentially going to do is remove that top layer and smoothen out the surface. This is going to allow you to get a lot more out of the original concrete. Stamped Concrete Patios We have talked about the actual shape of the concrete patio that you are going to be looking to build. Now, this would be a little like adding some style points to the equation. Stamping concrete is one of the best ways to really give any type of concrete area a truly unique look. You are going to be able to stamp any type of pattern that you want. It is not the only way that you are going to be able to add style points to your patio though. There are actually a lot of ways that you are going to be able to do that. We are going to be there to help you along the way! How Long Is My Concrete Patio Going To Last? Most companies are going to go out on the limb and tell you it is going to last north of 20 years. That could certainly be the case. Then again, it could not be. There are a lot of things that could play into that number. If you take care of the are properly though you have a better chance of reaching 2 decades. |
